Why You’ll Love Woodard Cleaning and Restoration

Share

Whether it’s our 12-step carpet cleaning process, legendary service, or our satisfaction guarantee, there are numerous reasons to love Woodard!

When you choose our certified experts to handle your cleaning or restoration project, you can rest assured in knowing that you’ll always get the best! Why? Because that’s exactly what you deserve. Here we have compiled a list of just some of the reasons you will love Woodard Cleaning and Restoration.

Experience Woodard’s 12-Step Carpet Cleaning Process

With kids, pets, and messy house guests, you’re probably thinking, “How am I supposed to keep my carpets clean?” With the help of our signature 12-step carpet cleaning process and five-star topical treatments, you can! What other cleaning companies consider “extras,” we consider standard. When we say we offer “full-service carpet cleaning solutions,” we mean it!

With our carpet cleaning services, cleaning is just the beginning; here’s what’s included with our 12-step process:

  1. Pre-inspection of your carpeting, prior to cleaning, to identify all areas of concern, as well as high-traffic patterns and areas of concern to determine the most successful cleaning methods.
  2. Use of corner guards and mats to protect flooring and walls from hoses, equipment, and chemicals.
  3. A thorough vacuuming of every square inch of accessible carpeting to remove visible dirt and dust.
  4. Movement of as much light furniture as possible, including sofas, chairs, and tables, to treat as much carpet as possible with our signature cleaning process.
  5. Application of pre-treatment solutions to stubborn spots, stains, and spills, greatly enhancing the final cleaning results.
  6. Application of eco-friendly cleaning solutions and pre-conditioning treatments to ensure maximum soil removal.
  7. Performance of a hand-scrubbing around the perimeter of carpet edging, and other areas in need of extra attention.
  8. Extraction and rinse of soil from carpets using clean, hot water to ensure residue is eliminated from the surface, as well as the roots of the fibers.c
  9. Re-positioning of furniture onto protective pads, re-setting the room back to its original layout.
  10. Grooming carpet patterns to speed drying times, while creating a uniformed look.
  11. Use of powerful turbo dryers to further enhance drying times.
  12. A final walk-through, with you, to discuss the effectiveness of our cleaning processes and post-cleaning care instructions.

Only Woodard offers this level of service and results! Plus, after we finish the carpet cleaning process, we’ll leave you with a gift bag, filled with a full-sized bottle of Spot Out Stain Remover, shoe covers, future cleaning instructions, and so much more! In addition to carpets, Woodard also offers signature cleaning processes for rugs, furniture, and tile.

Legendary Service You Can Count On

Since 1946, when Earl & Nancy Woodard founded our company, we’ve thrived on delivering a flawless customer experience with legendary service to match. It’s no secret that Woodard Cleaning and Restoration’s employees are known for their high level of expertise and knowledge. Presently, our staff holds approximately 300 professional cleaning and restoration accreditations! But, who’s counting? Okay, we are!

How to Choose a Reliable Home Contractor

Choosing a company to work on your home or business is a big decision that should not be taken lightly. You’ll want to find a company that is reputable, reliable, and responsible, as well as capable of performing the proposed project. Knowing how to choose a reliable home contractor can be tricky, especially if you’ve never done it before. This is why we have put together this handy guide to help assist you in the process.

Remember: You Call the Shots

When an accident occurs in your home or business, for many, the first order of business is contacting their insurance company. From there, the insurance company usually calls the shots on deciding who will make the repairs, updates, or renovations; this is where things get murky. Most assume that their insurance company would only recommend the best in the business, however, that is not always the case. Keep this in mind: just because a company or contractor isn’t on your insurance company’s preferred list of vendors does NOT mean you can’t use them.

A Few Suggestions

  • Always obtain at least three estimates to ensure you fully understand your needs, project issues, and costs. While this may seem like a daunting process, it’ll save a ton of time, money, and frustration in the end!
  • Make your final selection based on value, rather than cost. Simply put: spending less for results that are not up to your standards, or will require more work in the long run, does not equate to a “good value.”
  • Be Realistic. Keep in mind the amount of time, labor, and behind-the-scenes work that goes into a project. If you’re quoted a time frame or price that seems higher than you initially expected, remember that quality work is never rushed.
  • Explore financing options. Typically, reputable contractors have financing programs, or knowledge of financing options. Pick their brains on the subject – they’re there to help!
  • Ask around. Who do you trust to “give it to you straight:” family members, friends, co-workers? Ask them all! Everyone you know has had good and bad experiences with contractors or companies, so take the time to hear their experiences.

Hiring a Contractor Checklist

Let’s face it, having to hire a contractor means you’ve encountered some major issues at your home or business, and you’re already stressed out. To stop that aggravation before it grows into a full-blown catastrophe, do your research! Use this contractor checklist as a guide, and everything will fall into place.

  • The contractor is licensed and registered with the state the project is being done in. Tip: If they don’t offer up their state registration number, ask for it.
  • The contractor has adequate insurance coverage (i.e. Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, Builder’s Risk) to fully protect all aspects of your home/business and project.
  • The contractor provides an accurate and detailed project estimate, and sticks with it! Tip: Fixed, non-negotiable, pricing estimates are the best way to go.
  • The contractor clearly explains the plans and specifications required by your project, and always answers questions with a positive and welcoming attitude.
  • The contractor puts your needs first. Whether they’re working on your project only, or you’re one of 15, you should always feel like your needs are the contractor’s top priority.
  • The contractor is more than willing to obtain all required building and/or zoning permits. Without the appropriate permits, your project will never be protected with insurance claims.
  • The contractor provides references and encourages you to contact them. It’s up to you to call on those references!
  • The contractor is happy to provide you with photos and information on past projects that share similarities with your project. This is the ultimate way to achieve peace of mind!
  • The contractor is open to hearing your thoughts, ideas, and concerns, and implements them throughout all phases of the project.

As you can see, there’s a lot more to choosing a reliable home contractor than initially meets the eye. But if you just use this handy guide during the process, the process will be a much smoother and more seamless experience. Good luck!
