Rug Decontamination Services

Woodard’s rug decontamination services are able to tackle pet odors that seem nearly impossible to combat!

At our Rug Care Center, your rug(s) are placed individually in one of our 5×9 rug decontamination tanks. Our decontamination tanks contain a cold-water solution. The solution includes a natural enzyme that digests and breaks down urine residue as well as a counteractant that deodorizes and cleans your rug. A Rug Care Center technician reviews how long your rug should stay in the tank. The technician will determine this by reviewing the type of rug and type of dye in the rug. This will tell us how tolerant your rug will be to color migration so we don’t ruin the coloring of your rug(s). (Color migration is the running or bleeding of colors.)

During the soaking process, the technician will agitate the tank contents. Once your rug is finished soaking in the decontamination tank, we remove it and continue with our cleaning process. Our most successful outcomes have been with rugs we could rinse after their decontamination bath and then clean through our MOR™ Machine.
