IICRC stands for Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. The purpose of the IICRC is to provide a set level of standards for the industry.

Simply put, this means that a certified technician is practicing the most advanced standards that are recognized globally in the industry. You can rest assured that an IICRC certified technician are providing you with the best carpet cleaning!

Woodard has been cleaning carpet since 1946. But, our 12-step carpet cleaning process is far from old or out of dated. We follow the standards put in place by the IICRC to give you a Legendary Service. Most importantly, you can be confident that we’re not trying to trick you with any gimmicks.

How does one become IICRC Certified?

To become a certified carpet cleaning technician one must first enroll is a specific set of courses. The courses depend on which specialty they choose to focus on. IICRC provides classes for carpet, upholstery, rug, restoration, and more! The technician must attend a set of classes and pass a test to be certified. Unfortunately, no state requires a technician to be IICRC certified before they start cleaning. Because of this, you could potentially have someone cleaning your carpets, with no knowledge at all.
