How is Woodard taking precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19?

We are monitoring this ever-changing situation daily and are fully prepared for any type of possible threat. Woodard follows CDC guidelines, St. Lous City Guidelines, and St. Louis County Guidelines in terms of personal responsibility of washing and sanitizing hands, maintaining proper distance from others, avoiding large concentration of people and most importantly, proactively keeping our buildings clean and disinfected using Disinfection Services.  We believe this is the best line of defense to help stop the spread of COVID-19. We also follow CDC protocols relative to cleaning and disinfecting any areas of concern.

Is Woodard keeping their vehicles & equipment sanitized, too?

Yes, each day we complete a detailed cleaning and cab sanitation process to each vehicle in our fleet. The same process is done with our equipment as well.

How is Woodard Handling Social Distancing?

While all of our service lines are still open and getting customers back to their lives, we are limiting the number of staff in each of our buildings with flexible and staggered scheduling.  We also have many office employees who may work from home.

Should I schedule a cleaning or be concerned about having Woodard in my home or business for emergency services?

Ultimately the choice is yours. If you feel comfortable having our team members in your home or commercial building we are diligently working to keep our employees safe and healthy. Our employees are also following additional protocols to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

What additional protocols are in place to keep me and my family safe and healthy?

Before a member of our team comes to your home or business you will be asked to complete a health assessment daily:

• Do you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher?
• Has anyone in your home/business/school tested positive for COVID-19?
• Has anyone in your home/business/school been tested for COVID-19 but not yet received the results?
• Has anyone living in your home/working in this area been sick within the last two weeks?
• Has anyone living in your home/working in this area recently returned from areas the CDC has identified as high risk in the last two weeks?

These questions will better help us serve you to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. When in your home or business, our crew members will not shake your hand and will talk to you from a farther distance than normal.  If paperwork needs to be signed or electronically signed, the crew member will wipe the pen or stylus with a disinfectant wipe before and after.

I want to have my rugs cleaned. What are my options?

If you’re interested in rug cleaning, we have two options available:

• schedule the pick-up and delivery of your rugs by the Woodard team
  • in-home
  • porch pick-up
• you can drop-off your rugs via our curbside services at our Rug Care Center

If you are uncomfortable or unable to enter our facility for service, we have curbside service available.  Please honk and a member of our team will come out to retrieve your items and handle the paperwork.
