Mold testing is done after a mold inspection is performed to identify what type of mold is present in your home, business, or commercial property and to determine how many spores are airborne.
Woodard does not perform mold testing.
However, we have a variety of third-party companies that we can recommend who can provide mold testing for you. It’s important that you choose a company that does not offer both mold testing and remediation as this can put the company in a position where they have to choose what’s right for them vs what’s right for you.
Today, the state of Missouri does not have a law set, unlike other states, that requires these two services to be performed by different companies. However, at Woodard, we believe that hiring a third-party to test for mold while we perform the mitigation is what’s right. This ensures that we perform the mitigation properly keeping your environment safe and healthy.
When you hire a third-party company to test for mold, they will perform the test, collect their findings and then provide us with an air sample and corresponding remediation plan. Then, we can provide you with an estimate for remediating the mold.
Upon completion, we have a third-party retest for mold to confirm that our remediation services are done properly restoring your home, business, or commercial property back to a safe and healthy environment.
