Should I go through insurance?

If the loss is covered under your insurance policy, then yes. However, if the cost for mitigation and repair is less than your deductible, it may be more cost-effective to skip the claim process and pay out of pocket.

How do I know if I’m covered?

Not all homeowners’ insurance policies cover the same types of losses, so it’s best to contact your insurance carrier.

What is the process after a claim is filed?

The homeowner files the claim with their insurance carrier and provides the claim number and adjuster name to the on-site Woodard crew. Our Project Manager works directly with you and your insurance adjuster to settle the claim. Together we will collect insurance proceeds and any out-of-pocket expenses you may have.
