Woodard Partners with St. Louis Area Foodbank

Giving back to the community it serves is an important initiative for Woodard Cleaning and Restoration and its team members.

In the first quarter of 2013, Woodard, along with support from its customers, collected 1,179 pounds of non-perishable food goods for the St. Louis Area FoodBank. This equates to 962 meals for those less fortunate in the St. Louis metropolitan area. This is Woodard’s second year of participation in the food drive, and hopes to continue this partnership for years to come. Featured in the picture to the right is Chief Information Officer Justin Woodard and St. Louis Area Food Bank Vice President of Product Sourcing, Lenora Young.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank has been feeding hungry people for 35 years. It’s an organization that relies on the generous giving of local partners, not only in resources but in hands-on volunteer hours. St. Louis Area Foodbank also focuses on educating the public on hunger issues and working toward abolishing this issue of poverty in local communities.
